Manga & Anime: Drawing, Design & Storytelling

Drawing Class for Kids ages 6-13

Instructor Artist Georgina Chavez

In this beginner-friendly Manga & Anime Drawing class, students will build foundational drawing skills while exploring the distinctive style, characters, and visual storytelling of manga and anime.

Students will explore the exciting world of Manga and Anime while developing essential drawing skills! Our beginner-friendly program introduces young artists to character design, facial expressions, proportions, movement, and visual storytelling through familiar characters from popular series such as Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Jujutsu Kaisen, Pokémon, and more.

Art education offers benefits that extend beyond drawing. Through creative exploration, students strengthen observation, concentration, problem-solving skills, patience, and confidence. As they learn new techniques and make their own artistic decisions, they develop greater independence, imagination, and pride in their accomplishments.

Guided by professional artists in a welcoming and supportive studio environment, students receive step-by-step instruction in sketching, character development, inking, composition, and manga storytelling while being encouraged to develop their individual drawing style.

Each month introduces new concepts and independent projects, allowing students to join the program at any time during the school year.

Monthly Tuition: $125
