- ➤ Residents can pick up free take and make craft kits at the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library on a first come, first served basis at both the children’s and reference desks. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Edinburg has released its New Year's holiday garbage collection schedule. Residential and commercial collection will continue today and on Jan. 1 even as city offices, the recycling center, and the regional landfill are closed, with normal operations resuming Jan. 2 and brush collection restarting Jan. 5. - ➤ Hidalgo County officials listed six job openings from Monday, Dec. 29 covering public health, transportation, and IT with salaries ranging from low $30,000s to over $50,000.
