- ➤ Gabriela Garza, an Edinburg North High School art student, won a $10,000 scholarship after being named Grand Champion in the Drawing/Mixed Media division at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo yesterday — her achievement marks the third consecutive win for the school. The Edinburg Advocate
- ➤ The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library has expanded its digital offerings by providing Hidalgo County library cardholders free access to thousands of eBooks and audiobooks via cloudLibrary.
