The Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library will host its Holly Jolly Winter Celebration on Thursday, Dec.
18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 1906 S. Closner Blvd. Families, teens and adults will enjoy crafts, games and redeemable free books during this community event.
🎓 Education
Gabriela Garza, an Edinburg North High School art student, won a $10,000 scholarship after being named Grand Champion in the Drawing/Mixed Media division at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo yesterday — her achievement marks the third consecutive win for the school.
The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library has expanded its digital offerings by providing Hidalgo County library cardholders free access to thousands of eBooks and audiobooks via cloudLibrary.
Residents can use their existing cards to borrow digital titles on smartphones, tablets, or computers.
