- ➤ On November 27th, Hidalgo County Precinct 4 opened its first Community Closet inside the Precinct 4 Endowment Center at 107 Sunflower Road in Edinburg to provide free clothing and personal care items for residents—an effort established in partnership with the AltaCair Foundation. - ➤ Edinburg Parks and Recreation will open registration on Dec 1 for its annual Deck the House Holiday Decorating Contest to let residents display festive home decorations. Residents must sign up by emailing [email protected]+ before Dec 12 at 7 p.m.+ the contest features five categories that honor brightness, elegance, creativity, spirit and tradition.
