Mexico Consul General Judith Arrieta Munguía offered an economic update at a virtual briefing, detailing how Plan Mexico aims to boost shared prosperity with South Texas through industrial modernization + supply chain integration.
Arrieta invited local business leaders and economic developers in the region to explore joint investment opportunities.

UTRGV has received a $5M federal grant from the Small Business Administration (SBA) to boost manufacturing efforts in South Texas and will train 250 workers while awarding 200 credentials through its Institute for Advanced Manufacturing over the next 12 months.
