Harrington, founder of the Texas Civil Rights Project, spoke at a book-signing event at the España restaurant in McAllen where he introduced his new book 'The Texas Civil Rights Project: How We Built a Social Justice Movement.' - ➤ Consumer Reports advises Edinburg drivers to use apps like GasBuddy to compare gas prices and to choose stations off the highway for better deals—using premium fuel only if required. - ➤ Knapp Community Care Foundation has donated $500,000 to create the Mid-Valley Pediatric Assistance Endowment—which Driscoll Children’s Hospital will match for a total of $1 million.
