- ➤ The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library in Edinburg released its September lineup of interactive programs for teens and tweens — events include a sewing project on Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m., National Video Game Day on Sept. 14 at 2 p.m., a painting class on Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m., a family movie day on Sept. 28 at 2 p.m., and a pumpkin wood slice craft on Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m. All events are free with materials provided and need no registration. - ➤ Today the Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library is inviting Edinburg residents to sign up for a free library card as part of National Library Card Sign-Up Month. The library at 1906 S. Closner Blvd, residents can join a free bilingual computer workshop on email essentials while an English session is held at 6 p.m.—Future classes on Sept. 15, Sept. 22, and Sept. 29 will cover word processing, online job search, and internet safety on a first-come, first-served basis.
