- ➤ In Donna, a man was found intoxicated on Bilman Road early this morning and the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case—his condition remains unknown and the details of how he ended up on the road are still unclear. FOX RGV
- ➤ A 29-year-old man was arrested in Edinburg after stealing a cell phone from a drive-thru in rural Mission and leading police on a chase that ended near U.S. Highway 281 and Trenton Road early Sunday—he now faces charges of robbery and evading arrest. KRGV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Edinburg police remind drivers to slow down near school zones and school buses as schools start. Extra officers will patrol these areas to enforce traffic laws and heavy fines may be applied for passing buses with flashing red lights — the department emphasizes student safety. KRGV
