- ➤ Edinburg officials celebrated the ribbon cutting of a new one-million-gallon water tower built for $5 million today — a project designed to boost water pressure and support north side growth. - ➤ Melisa Gonzales-Rosas, assistant director of LRGVDC’s community and economic development department, said LRGVDC’s strategic plans should be used by small cities when applying for state and federal grants during the Small Cities Coalition workshop—she also discussed plans on economic development, resiliency, water management, and new guidelines from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
