- ➤ Jason E. Schneider was named acting chief patrol agent for the U.S. Border Patrol RGV Sector on August 1, replacing Gloria Chavez who led the unit since 2022. CBP commissioner Rodney Scott said the agency upholds its core values — it does not comment on specific disciplinary actions. KRGV
