🎓 Education
Edinburg CISD Board held a special called meeting Saturday to interview candidates for the vacant superintendent position.
It announced a second round of interviews will be scheduled later (Board Vice-President Carmen Gonzalez chaired the session in the absence of Board President Xavier Salinas).
Edinburg CISD announced a change to the middle school fall sports schedule with baseball and boys soccer starting in August & football beginning in October at all seven campuses.

Edinburg CISD Board meets Tuesday, July 28 at 6 p.m. to consider a $50K legal services engagement with Norton Rose Fulbright + renew contracts and review principal and personnel appointments in closed session.
