- ➤ A Texas National Guard soldier—Mario Sandoval—was found guilty of human smuggling after reportedly starting his operations in July last year during Operation Lonestar, and he faces up to ten years in federal prison with sentencing scheduled for October. KURV
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Adam Gonzalez, CEO of the Council for South Texas Economic Progress, said COSTEP is developing a digital data system to collect manufacturing information from the Rio South Texas region—including northern Tamaulipas—to form an automotive cluster that will guide future projects. - ➤ The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library has hosted free, hands-on creative activities for teens and tweens at 1906 S.
