Edinburg's ACE Center hosts RADICLE, a contemporary dance concert by UTRGV Dance on July 16 and 17.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with tickets priced at $10+ tax, and proceeds benefit the UTRGV Dance program and future ACE Center events.
🎓 Education
South Texas College joined the Metallica Scholars Initiative by accepting a $75,000 grant (to fund scholarships and toolkits for 20 Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics students) announced July 4, which supports career training in high-demand trades in the Rio Grande Valley.
Rina Castillo, an STC alumna and community development agent from Edcouch-Elsa, was elected as the new trustee for District 7 (serving until May 2032) on July 4.
She vows to increase college support services and boost educational opportunities for underserved students in local communities.
