- ➤ The Regional Hispanic Contractors Association and the RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host the 2025 Luna Awards Luncheon—Rio Grande Valley Region at Harlingen Convention Center on Aug. 17 to honor women and women-owned businesses in architecture, engineering and construction. - ➤ Helgi Davis died Sunday at 76 and founded Myth Adventures at 720 W. Nolana Ave where he hosted weekly comic and game events that built a loyal local following—he also served in the U.S. Army and saw action in Vietnam before moving his family to the Valley. MyRGV.com
