🎓 Education
Edinburg CISD Board will meet on Wednesday, July 1 at 5 p.m. to revisit its appointment of interim superintendent Gisela Saenz, selected on June 23.
The meeting includes closed sessions on personnel and public comment to decide if a new leader will be named + keep staff informed.
🏛️ Government
The city announced the installation of a 4-way stop at Alberta Road and Veterans Boulevard (near Bert Ogden Arena) in about two weeks after a study found heavy traffic and safety concerns; it will later install a traffic signal once funding is secured.
