- ➤ TxDOT held its yearly districtwide hurricane meeting in Pharr this week to review crew roles during storms like Hurricane Harvey and prepare for a season beginning June 1. New employees met with veteran crews to clarify their roles for future hurricane events. KRGV
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Edinburg Economic Development Corporation announced an $18-$20 million redevelopment of the Comfort Inn and MainStay Suites at 4001 S. Closner Blvd. The project will build dual IHG hotels with new amenities, create 47 jobs, and boost local revenue as construction begins in September and completes in March 2028. MyRGV.com
