- ➤ A 69-year-old man was arraigned after he hit a 13-year-old pedestrian near North McColl and Schunior Road yesterday morning—he faces charges of collision involving serious bodily injury and unlawful carrying of a weapon with a $90,000 bond while the injured girl receives medical care. FOX RGV

- ➤ Texas lawmakers push for a measure that would let school districts vote on setting aside time for students to read from the Bible or other religious texts—families must opt in, and the measure has passed in the State Senate as explained by State Representative David Spiller. KURV
- ➤ The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library at 1906 S.
