- ➤ The City of Edinburg Parks & Recreation, with H-E-B, will host Mommy and Me at the Edinburg World Birding Center (714 S. Raul Longoria Rd) on Saturday, May 9 from 9 a.m. to noon with snacks, raffles, music, and a craft activity; a Pilates session from 9 to 10 a.m. is limited to the first 20 participants with an RSVP required. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ TxDOT is expanding Ware Road from two to six lanes between Monte Cristo Road and Mile 5 Road using state+federal funds to ease traffic and improve drainage; the first phase will finish by December 2029 while lanes remain open. KRGV
