- ➤ La Union del Pueblo Entero held its 22nd annual Cesar Chavez March on Saturday to honor the late Cesar Chavez — known for supporting migrant labor in the 1970s — as hundreds joined to show community solidarity. KRGV

- ➤ H-E-B is renovating and expanding its Edinburg store at 2700 W. Freddy Gonzalez Dr.—the project will grow the store to nearly 110,000 square feet with expanded departments, a refreshed exterior, and new curbside parking. The store remains open during renovations that are underway and expected to finish in 2027. KRGV
- ➤ AIM Media Texas newspapers, submitting as MyRGV.com, took several first place awards at the Texas Managing Editors awards over the weekend in San Antonio, and publisher Stephan Wingert said the win marks a historic move toward a unified digital identity—highlighting top honors in investigative reporting and digital video work. - ➤ Region One Education Service Center has been awarded a second Tri-Agency Convener grant for the Lower Rio Grande Valley and an additional award for the Laredo area—helping it connect education with local workforce needs across six counties.
