Elmor Leonel Ramos-Aburcia, a Honduran man, was arrested on April 15 after he allegedly assaulted a U.S. Border Patrol agent near the Brownsville international bridge by trying to scale the border fence, forcing his way into a patrol vehicle and biting the agent; officers from Customs and Border Protection and the Texas Department of Public Safety subdued him while the FBI leads the investigation, and he now faces three counts of assaulting a federal officer.
