- ➤ Investigators said a medical episode led to the drowning death of 40-year-old Ramon Rivera the Third, who fell from a bridge on FM-1425 while fishing in La Villa Wednesday; an autopsy confirmed he drowned after falling into a canal and the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office closed its investigation. - ➤ The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in finding a man who stole a red 2023 Chevy Silverado from Edinburg on March 9—officers said the truck was last seen driving south across Veterans International Bridge into Mexico and urged anyone with tips to call Crime Stoppers at 9566688477.
