ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A U.S. Border Patrol agent and the driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe died in a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday in McAllen on the 3200 block of South Ware Road—three others were injured and treated.  KRGV

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Residents may drop off bulky items and brush at designated sites until April 15; they can use the Recycling Center at 3102 US Highway Business 281 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the city landfill on N. Jasman Road — accepted items include tree branches, furniture, and electronic waste but refrigerators, flammable liquids, and pesticides are not allowed.  The Edinburg Advocate
