Rain is threatening handmade Easter egg sales this weekend in Hidalgo County as vendors cover products to protect against showers in the Rio Grande Valley.

Culture Fest 2026 is a free event hosted by City Cultural Arts and the Edinburg Arts Foundation on April 11 at 5 p.m. at Promenade Park Amphitheater (201 W.
McIntyre St.) It will feature live music, cultural foods, traditional dances, drum circles and local vendors.
The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library offers free adult programs throughout April in Edinburg.
A career workshop took place on April 1 (2 p.m.), and upcoming sessions include a chat GPT session on April 13, a job fair on April 16, and a Google Drive class on April 27.
