ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Early this morning, McAllen fire crews responded to a second-alarm call at a commercial building on the 1600 block of North 10th Street—battling the blaze for about three hours and causing severe damage while no one was injured.  FOX RGV

CRIME NEWS

  • Early Sunday at 3:12 a.m., Edinburg Police arrested 21-year-old Juan Carlos Contreras for DWI after a rollover crash on North Sugar Road that ejected 22-year-old Faith Gonzalez from a 1992 Ford Mustang and left her with non-life-threatening injuries while police investigated possible street racing and a second vehicle.  The Edinburg Advocate
  • Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a suspect who stole a 2005 Chevy Silverado on March 1 from Mission and drove it into Mexico through the Pharr International Bridge—surveillance footage shows his crossing—and officials ask anyone with information to contact crime stoppers.  FOX RGV
