- ➤ Edinburg officials broke ground on a new $4.5 million park on South Chavez Road — between Betts Elementary and Esparza Elementary — that will serve as a school facility during weekdays and open as a community park after 4 p.m. once completed. KRGV

- ➤ Today, CIL Fresh held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new $33 million, 142,000 sqft distribution center in Pharr located at Las Milpas and S.-Veterans Road.
