Edinburg collected $4,469,460.36 in local sales tax allocations for Dec.
2025, a 3.9% increase over February 2024, according to the Texas Comptroller's Office. Acting Comptroller Kelly Hancock explained that cities, counties, transit systems and special districts statewide will receive $1.5 billion in February, with year-to-date totals rising 2%.
