About this event

Animals in Art: A Creative Journey Around the World .

Drawing, Painting & Mixed Media Class for Kids ages 5 to 12

Instructor Artist Raquel Hinojosa

Students will discover fascinating animals from around the world through the art of painting! Our program focuses primarily on acrylic painting, introducing students to color mixing, brush techniques, composition, and creative expression. Throughout the year, students may also explore watercolor, oil pastels, drawing, and mixed media to expand their artistic skills.

Art education offers benefits that extend beyond the canvas. Through painting, children develop creative thinking, problem-solving skills, patience, and confidence. As they make artistic decisions and explore their own ideas, they learn to express themselves, strengthen their concentration, and take pride in their accomplishments.

Guided by professional artists in a welcoming and supportive studio environment, students receive step-by-step instruction while being encouraged to develop their individual creativity.

Each month features a new, independent painting project, allowing students to join the program at any time during the school year.

Monthly Tuition: $125

Our After-School Painting Program includes:

• One 2-hour class per week (8 hours per month)

• All painting materials and supplies included

• Step-by-step instruction by professional artists

• Small class sizes for personalized guidance

Enrollment is open throughout the school year from Septenber to May!

We look forward to welcoming your young artist to another year of creativity, discovery, and artistic growth!
