The South Texas College JagReconnect Program celebrated one year by helping over 450 adult learners return to college with tuition support, debt relief and mentoring.

The program has gained support from local foundations and now hosts campus events to help students connect and plan for graduation.

The Edinburg CISD Board of Trustees approved hiring Angela Dominguez as the new superintendent on Tuesday.

Dominguez brings over 30 years of education experience from her work with the Donna school system.
